![]() Nightly Met Opera StreamsĬapitalizing on its Live in HD program, last Friday the Metropolitan Opera launched a nightly series of full-length works, available to stream online from 7:30 p.m. Stream shows on BroadwayHDīroadwayHD, a paid streaming service established in 2015, boasts a backlog of theatre and concert performances that range from Katharine Hepburn's turn in a 1973 production of The Glass Menagerie, to the 2016 revival of William Finn and James Lapine's Falsettos starring Christian Borle, Andrew Rannells, Stephanie J. Among those confirmed to appear on later installments are Idina Menzel, Jessie Mueller, Laura Benanti, and Betty Buckley. This week, SiriusXM Broadway host Seth Rudetsky and his husband, James Wesley, started a daily YouTube show called "Stars in The House," in which Kelli O'Hara, Ruthie Ann Miles and other Broadway luminaries join Rudetsky for a concert and conversation. And while you’re swooning to Gallagher’s rendition of “You Learn,” consider supporting struggling artists through a donation to The Actors Fund or Broadway Cares. With Broadway dark until at least April 12, Broadway World has partnered with Jagged Little Pill’s Kathryn Gallagher, Dear Evan Hansen’s Andrew Barth Feldman, and a bevy of other actors to present “ Living Room Concerts,” a daily series of (very charming) mini-performances.
